We do not pass on or resell your details. However a few companies do need to see your details in order to process the order, these included the delivery companies (e.g. Royal mail, USPS, UPS, Parcel force) and our bank (who process the credit/debit card transactions). We use a secure server to process your payment.



What information we hold about you

We only hold the basic information we need in order to make the website fully functional and secure. We do log visitor traffic to understand which areas of the website appeal to customers and to secure the website (so we are aware if someone is trying to attack the website). We do keep a full history of your orders to assist you in the future.



Return Policy

Our return policy is based on fairness, common sense and British law. If your product arrives damaged or defective, we would ask you to return it to us and we will replace it. If it goes missing we will claim from the courier/post office and make sure you get what you ordered. In the unlikely event that you don't like the item, provided it is returned in a complete and original condition within 30 days of ordering we will refund the full amount excluding all the postage costs and a 15% restocking fee. If you return an item within 14 days as required by British law we will issue a full refund including paying for the postage. If you send goods back within the 14 days we only pay the postage for the least expensive delivery option. Any local taxes that you pay will have to be claimed back by yourself. If you want to return an item, e-mail us before returning it. When posting back to us make sure you include a note to us so we know who it belongs to.

Returning made to order or customised goods

Some of the products are made to order or have customisation. For those products we are unable to offer refunds if the products are not to your liking or you have simply changed your mind. If you made an error we cannot re-use it and therefore cannot offer a refund or credit. If the item is defective or we have made an error we will gladly either refund or replace provided that we are notified within 14 days.



Refusal of Transaction

We reserve the right to cancel an order, withdraw an offer or remove any product from this website and catalog at any time. We also reserve the right to add/change/remove any content on this website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse to service anyone at any time at our discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party for withdrawing any product from this website; cancelling, refusing or changing an order; adding/changing/removing any material or content on the website; or the late delivery of an product or order.

After submitting an order to us we will send you an order acknowledgement email with your order number and details of the goods that you have ordered. Please note this email is an acknowledgement and is not an acceptance of your order.

For certain goods, information concerning stock availability is not available on the Website. If you order goods which are not available from stock, we will contact you by e-mail and you will have the option to wait until the goods are available from stock, or cancel your order in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy. In the event your order is cancelled, we will refund any payment already collected from you in respect of that order, in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy.

Any email or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when we send you an email confirming that the goods you have ordered have been dispatched to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy.



Guaranteed Delivery Services

We do not offer any guaranteed delivery times. E.g. no service is guaranteed to be next day or on a particular day or within a particular timeframe. If a parcel is late due to problems with the courier, weather or anything otherwise you are not entitled to a refund. However we will make every effort to get your parcels to you quickly and professionally, we use couriers with this in mind and the vast minority of time they meet the expected timeframes. We reserve the right change which method or service your order is delivered by, this could be an upgrade to a faster service or a different courier completely.



Exchange Rates

We are a British company. Our currency is Pounds Stirling, not euros or US dollars. Any prices not in Pounds Stirling are provided as guidance. We currently can only charge in US dollars (USD) or British Pounds Stirling (GBP). We do not offer real time exchange rates on the website. Where possible our exchanges are updated every 24hours. We are not responsable for incorrect exchange rates. If you are using a foriegn card it is possible your bank may add some small extra fees. We cannot be responsible if your bank or card company charges you extra for converting the currency or charges some extra fee. Actual card exchange rates MAY vary fractionally as VISA and Mastercard use their own exchange rates. Furthermore few people are aware that the exchange rate quoted by the media is an average and there is actually a sell and buy rate. Hence the rate often quoted is rarely completely accurate.



Prices and Promotions

On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the Website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time by us elswhere. We are under no obligation to honour any promotion in the event that they differ from those on the Website.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the Website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period. We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods on the Website at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we have taken payment for your order.



They are not Children's toys

Unless stated our products are not toys for Children. The website contains a mixture of toys, precision machined working models for adults and scientific equipment. Read the instructions before use and ensure the product is suitable for the person receiving the product.



Severance

Each provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the validity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part.



English Law

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
